SOEP datasets are now available for use in university teaching.
Your first option is to run one of the following scripts for SPSS, Stata, or SAS to create the teaching version from the installed original data (SOEP v.29):

SAS (TXT, 111.01 KB)
Alternatively, you can order the SOEP teaching dataset in the format you need from our SOEPhotline at soepmail@diw.de. The procedure is nearly the same as for the complete dataset (personalized download link with password for registered data users).
