Till Köveker is a PhD candidate at the DIW Graduate Center and a research associate in the Climate Policy Department. His research focuses on climate and environmental economics, in particular on the design and evaluation of policy instruments for industrial decarbonisation and the heat transition in the building sector. In 2026, he was a visiting doctoral researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Economic Theory and Econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Politics & Economics from Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked at KfW Development Bank, the Öko-Insitut – Institute for Applied Ecology, and the economic consultancy Frontier Economics.
